Edible Christmas & New Years Gifts – Chocolate and Date Truffles in Colourful Coating

Ho Ho Ho!

Merry Christmas to all my fellow food lovers out there!

Can you believe it’s already Christmas Eve?

The day is filled with magic, excitement, delicious food, and Christmas presents.

Whenever I visit people during the holidays, I never go empty-handed.

I love to bring something homemade, preferably something edible.

This year, I decided to take my favorite truffle recipe and dress it up in fancy coatings and package it in little boxes.

They almost look like fancy-filled chocolates and always get a lot of “Ihhh”, “Ohhh” and “How lovely” comments.

But let me tell you, these date truffles not only look pretty, they taste absolutely delicious.

The freeze-dried berry powder adds a beautiful color and a lovely fresh and slightly tart flavor.

I know it’s a little late to be making holiday gifts today, but I wanted to share this recipe with you all as inspiration.

Maybe on New Year’s Eve, you can bring it as a dessert or a treat for your host.

That’s what I’m going to do!

Merry Christmas and a wonderful evening.

Enjoy every moment and every bite!
