Instructions
Pour the olive oil into a small shallow dish or plate with a rim.
Add all the dried herbs — basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and parsley.
Stir in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Let the mixture sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve with warm crusty Italian bread for dipping.
Notes
For an even richer flavor, warm the olive oil slightly before adding the herbs and garlic. This helps release the essential oils in the dried herbs.
