Rum Punch

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups dark rum
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup orange juice freshly squeezed preferred
  • 0.5 cup grenadine
  • 0.25 cup fresh lime juice about 4 limes
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ice for serving

Garnishes

  • orange slices
  • maraschino cherries
  • fresh mint sprigs

Instructions

  • Combine the dark rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine, and fresh lime juice in a large pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more grenadine, or add more lime juice if you want extra tartness.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill and allow the flavors to meld together. This step makes a big difference in flavor!
  • Fill glasses with plenty of ice.
  • Pour the rum punch over the ice and garnish each glass with an orange slice, a maraschino cherry, and a sprig of fresh mint.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Make this punch a few hours ahead and refrigerate for best flavor. Add ice right before serving to prevent dilution. For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add a splash of sparkling water or ginger ale. For a frozen rum punch, blend all ingredients with ice.
